Gaming continues

Wow, the last game topic blog was more than a month ago, and that was the i finished 'Shadow of the Colossus'

Well, yeah, i did buy a few games for my PS2, since they were cheap, but none are satisfying, interesting, or making me addict enough to blog abt it, eheh.


I bought 'Smackdown! vs Raw 2008'. It's awesome that everyone has a fighting style, that means those heavy wrestler can't jump around as easily as those lighter ones, more realistic, alot of the controls changed, but it's still fun to play.

Oh, i have a new roommate, and dude! he has a PS3 which he bought like 3 weeks ago, but all he have is Metal Gear Solid 4, and other demo games which were already inside. I feel like buying Devil May Cry 4 and GTA4, because they are great sequels! but they are really really expensive so i'll think about it.

So i played MGS4, but man, i don't get the story very well, but it's abt nanobots which can either regenerate body damage quickly, or damage the body itself, well, u don't get those nanobots in you, it's part of the story, and the bad guy seemed immortal, coz he got those nanobots inside him. since japanese played a big part in creating this game, i see a lot of japanese traits in the game. The game play and cut-scenes are awesome.
I don't get the story very well, but i'm thinking of buying metal gear 2 and 3 for the PS2
oh, after 9 hours+ of gameplay, i just finished chapter 2, woah...

oh, and a little bit about my new roommate, he's a white dude from Capetown, South Africa. when i asked him what it's like there, alot of crime he told me. you can never go out alone, even during the day he say. haha, wow... sounds really dangerous.

Thy next foe is...

the intro scene was boring! all i watch was some dude on a horse on the way thru the woods and everything, i had to skip it, ahaha.

if u hadn't guessed yet, I just borrowed a PS2 game from my classmate, called "Shadow of the Colossus".

yeah, the gameplay is good, but i feel that the story is weak. in the beginning started off with this guy, who's determined to bring back the lost soul of a cute girl who really look japanese XD
He placed her on some shrine, and called out some dude in the sky who's job is soul collecting and transfering, u can't really see him, he's just a voice of a bright light in the sky. then he tells u of the circumstances, and tells u to go hunt and kill colossus, or giants.

yeah, i slayed 7 of them already... and it doesn't seem anything interesting is going on, i mean... i slay them, he gets teleported back, and then was immediately told which next colossus is to be hunted down. After each colossus i slayed, it repeats... so, there's no bad guy or anything, but it's fun, figuring out the colossus's weaknesses, climbing on them and striking their weak spots, but there's not much action/drama...

in Persona, i've reached lv99 and created Thanatos! oh, it has the skill 1handsword master, so i started using one-handed sword now, eheh... hmm... even tho i have Thanatos, it doesn't feel very different... these special persona shud have their own finisher so they wud seem different, but every persona can have the same skill, it depends...
swt, already coming to the end of november, and yuko is still not done yet O.O so slow...

FES- the end...

Ahh... victory is so sweet, i haven't tasted one since i played Okami, haha.

it took a whole week for me to finish "The Answer", P3:FES, P3 add-on. The game started off with Aigis, who inherited the Main Character's power, the power to hold multiple personas. It's ok i guess, except i'm only limited to use guns, which is pierce only attacks...

i reach to one point where the everyone of SEES were not in agreement and decided to fight for what they think it's right, because everyone has a key, and if all the keys were combined, it becomes a key to open the doors, one to the present, the other to the past. It was intense! i can't believe such friends with strong bonds were turned against each other, what a turn of event!

(Ak/Ke)Akihiko and Ken fights to move on to the present
(Yu/Mi)Yukari and Mitsuru fights to change the past to prevent loss
(Ju/Ko)Junpei is confused but won't side with either one and Koromaru supports him
(Ai/Me)Aigis has not decided yet, and Metis only wants to protect Aigis

so it was a 2 against 2 battle royal! but of course, it's more like a gauntlet instead... coz in the 1st match, Ai/Me were up against Ak/Ke, so, during this battle, Ju/Ko is not fighting against Yu/Mi, instead, Ai/Me have to fight all one after another, ahaha.

I thought i had to start the whole game over, coz i never trained Metis to be high level enough, and there was no way i cud win against Ak/Ke by myself. Before the battle, Metis immediatelly brings Aigis one door before the arena, so i thought there was no way to go back to the desert of doors to train Metis, but i was wrong, haha, i cud go back... so now i don't have to spend another week playing it all over.

1st battle was Ak/Ke. I used Thunder Reign on Ken, and Metis knocks him down with a physical atk and beats Ken 1st. Then i used ragnarok against Akihiko until i beat him one on one (Metis was knocked out by him). After they were defeated, they turned into flames, and lights up the torches in the arena...

Next was Ju/Ko, they were totally good guys before the match, so sad. Anyways, I used the same tactic and defeat Junpei 1st, Metis was then KO by Koromaru, then i kept using electric atk, and beat the dog. Aigis cudn't take it anymore, and wants to stop and give up, then some stuff happened, then she made up her mind, and then she was prepared to fight Yu/Mi. Ju/Ko turned into flames and light the other torches too

Last was Yu/Mi, before the match, yukari seemed very sarcastic and evil by the way she talk, prolly because the bgm supports it, but she means well, mitsuru didn't say anything much. I used the same tactic also, haha, and defeat yukari 1st, her hp was not long, so she was KO in the 2nd round, then left was Mitsuru. When her hp was low enough for one last atk, she used 'mind focus', so then i used thunder reign to finish her, but it was blocked by some kind of shield skill! and when it was her turn, her mabufudyne KO both Ai/Me. woah, i can't believe it! i then load the game, and beat them without any difficulties. swt!

yeah, after that the keys combined into one, and everyone turned back to normal, but yukari still won't give up, and tries to snatch the key, but it was useless since she lost, then she started crying and bla bla bla, i typed long enough here, and i've just beat the game, so go find out on ur own to see what happen, muahahaha!

Oh, i love the bgm during the battle against them... it had a sad & determine tune, lovely!

Death, Reaper

Today, was prolly a good day.

at school, i was surfing online, and yes! i found some of P3 tracks which i had been searching for. After class ended at 5pm, i went home, got changed and went to gym, came back and played persona!

i went to tartarus, and found the 3rd rare shadow, a gold living glove thing, and got the platinum medal. i went back and complete the quest at the velvet room, and got the reward, which i thought was promising, "jack's glove", but the atk is only 100...

i finally also bonded with aigis, the aeon arcana, i dunno what's that. i went back to tartarus again, and searched for death. I brought akihiko, ken and yukari. i found it, during the battle, i assign akihiko and ken to 'knockdown' and yukari to heal/support, but i still lost... one garudyne was enough to wipe me out... this Death is difficult, since it had all the element skills, and it doesn't have any weakness but it has no resistants as well... i manage to hit 25% of it's hp before it killed me... hmm, i think i'll train more before attempting to fight it again, still too strong...

lol, i can't believe it, when fuuka announce that Death is approaching, my heart was beating faster abit, coz it's like the strongest shadow there. i really like the gun shot sound that shoots from Death's pirate gun, it sounds cool.

Persona 3: FES

This game is awesome, prolly the best rpg i've played so far, lol, coz i was against rpg games awhile back, it seemed boring then.

Tips: there's a high chance u won't understand the following, unless u know what this game is and what it's about. (refer to directory at the bottom)

Well, since this blog idea came up late, i'm now already at lv62, around november(in-game calendar). My strongest persona now is Surt, the Lord of Fire(i think). i was able to fuse this persona after reaching max Social Link with the magician arcana. He has the skill Agidyne, Maragidyne and Ragnarok. With his other skills, Fire Boost and Fire amp, and while i'm equipped with agni bracers(fire atk boost), his fire atk increased tremendously, killing most enemies instantly, even if enemies are neutral against fire atks.

It's easy fighting some of the strong boss, especially if u choose a persona that's strength is the same as the enemy, u won't take any damage while u can damage them, muahaha. but all my teammates were knocked out, so it was a long fight with only one person.

i'm currently stuck with how to create Valkyrie with the skill tarukaja. if i can do so, i can then fuse a persona called Nata Taishi. without Nata Taishi, i can't create one of the 4-way persona card fuse.
also, i'm not sure how to deal with some of Elizabeth's quest... especially the ones where she'll reward u with maid outfits >.<
haha, 1stly, i'll try finding it out on my own, but if i failed up, i'll just look for guides online, lol.

it's sad u can only take 3 quest at a time =(
